Obituary

Our perfect and precious daughter, Noel Joyce Arevalo, was born sleeping on April 22, 2025. Though her time with us was brief, her impact is eternal.

Her due date was October 22nd, a special date, being the birthday of her Mom and Uncle Tommy.

Her big brother, Asher, lovingly called her “Joy,” so she could “match” the meaning of his name. It also represents the happiness she brought us all from the very beginning. Her first name, Noel, is her mother’s maiden name, connecting her to a long line of foremothers and forefathers. It also forever connects her to her beloved aunts and uncles. Her middle name, Joyce, is shared with her maternal grandmother, Karren Rogers Noel and great-grandmother, Merriam Dickson Rogers.

During her time in the womb, Noel made her mom crave Slurpees. Every time you drink one, please think of or remember her.

We find comfort in knowing she was welcomed into the heavenly arms of her great-grandparents, Thomas Franklyn Rogers, Merriam Joyce Dickson Rogers, Gordon Andrew Noel, and German Cardoza Alberto, as well as many cherished family members.

We are grateful she can be laid to rest near many loved ones, including her baby cousins, Cole Alexander Dunshee and Adam Christopher Mortensen.

She is survived by her loving parents, Victor Eduardo Arevalo and Kennedy Nicole Noel Arevalo; her adoring brother, Asher German Arevalo; her grandparents, Michael Edward Noel, Karren Joyce Rogers Noel, Rosamaria Cardoza Arevalo; her great-grandparents, Lee Purdy Noel, Clara Esperanza Cardoza; her uncles and aunts, Marilyn Arevalo Duke, Madeline Joyce Noel, Jacqueline Noel, Camille Noel, Michael Andrew Noel, Gabrielle Noel, Thomas Noel, as well as a wide circle of extended family who will always hold her close.

Noel was, and always will be, deeply and fiercely loved. She will never be forgotten.

We love you, Baby Bear. May we continually find and remember you every day.

A graveside service will be held in her honor at Bountiful City Cemetery on Friday, June 6th, at 11:00 a.m.
