Obituary

Loving and loyal wife of the late George Hirtle Jr.

Carole leaves behind her stepdaughter Melissa, her stepson George III and her nephew James III…along with many other family members and many loyal friends she was blessed to have.

She had a great love for animals especially cats. She leaves behind her latest rescue Kinu. I know she is now up in heaven with her cats who are waiting in heaven. Dennis, Mindy, Molly, Samantha, Princess, Joey and LuLu.

She loved playing golf, samba, line dancing and her latest love of bingo.

Her career was spent at GE, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Mass General and Medical Transcription.

Her childhood years were spent in Lynn, MA and she and George retired to the Villages FL in 2005.

We all were beyond blessed to have had Carole in our lives.

I miss her so much and I will forever be thinking of her. I am so happy she is back in my dad’s arms.

    I’ve known Carole since I was a kid (hadn’t seen her much since she moved to Florida) but I remember her as always fun to be around and a good friend to my sister Terry. They, and the third member of their triumvirate, Sandy allowed the annoying little sister to hang out with them…until the street lights came on and I had to go inside while they all got to stay out. I suspect they had more after fun I left:). I have fond memories of those times. She was a lovely soul and will be missed.

    I did not meet Carol,I was friends with Skip. Carol was a good wife to Skip. But he is gone her job is finished.

    Carole was a dear friend I was very fortunate to have in my life. She made me laugh like no one else could. We had a special rapport. She was a fighter and remained positive throughout all of her treatments. She rarely complained and really loved life. She will be sorely missed by me and many others.
