Al & I had the privilege to pastor Charles and Pat for a few years in Murphy, NC. We fell in love with both of them almost immediately. They are some of the godliness, friendly and good friends and helping people we have met through the years ❤️. We will miss Charles and we do miss Pat because of the distance between us, but, Pat, we thank God for both of you.

Charles was a very nice man. I remember them coming to see Sister Smith. We had a great time playing Scrabble! My heart goes out to you, Pat. He has Charles in His hands. I will forever remember our times together in Front Royal at your Mom's house. God bless all the family, each and every one at this time. Love, Martha

Charlie was a wonderful person. He was a patient of "Doc" H.'s 20 years ago, which was how we met. Doc & I always looked forward to seeing him during his visits, as he was such a kind and joyful guy. Deepest sympathy to Chuck & the whole Wheaton family. So sorry for your loss ...
