David Petty, age 70 of a Summerfield, Fla. address but originally a native of Kennesaw, Ga. passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by loved ones on August 10,2025. David was born in Atlanta, Ga. On October 1, 1954 to his parents J.B. Petty and Betty Conn Petty
David loved nascar, classic cars, and hot rods in his younger days. Fishing was also a favorite pastime.
What David loved the most was his family and friends. To know him was to love him as well. He was a kind man with a gentle soul and strong in his faith and belief in the Lord.
David is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna Petty. Two children, his son Jeremy (Sherly) Petty and their children Kristopher, Kristian, and Ethan Petty. Also his daughter Misty (Mike) Tucker and their children Casey (Michaela) Clackum and Michael Tucker jr. One great granddaughter Madi Clackum
David is proceeded in death by his parents, 3 older brothers Terry, Warren and Wayne Petty, one granddaughter Emily Clackum and a great granddaughter Addison Clackum.
A celebration of Life will be set at a later date.
