Obituary

Donald W. Martin, 96, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 24th, 2024. Don is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Marilyn, and his four children: Cheryl Altman, Kim Romot, Kim Brossia, and Brett Snow. He was a proud Grandfather to 12 grandchildren, and a proud Great Grandfather to 16!

Don loved life & was always happy on the golf course, or cooking a ‘gourmet’ meal. He was a very successful State Farm agent for 34 years, and he received and enjoyed all the rewards he so well deserved. He is the last of 8 children, and is happy to be reunited with all of them (what a reunion, right?).

Don will be forever loved & missed by his family, and long time friends. A “Celebration of Life” is in the planning stages & will be announced soon.

Until then… “I LOVE YOU, DON!! Thank you for over 52 years of being my soulmate“.

I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful Father than my Dad. He was always a positive role model and great listener. Lord knows he listened to me a lot over the years…always willing to give great advice but always compassionate. I miss you so very much Dad…I don’t know how I’m supposed to go on for the rest of my life without you in it, but I know you are watching over me and still loving me. I will see you again someday…love you Daddy. Love Cheryl
