Obituary

Drew Steven Hatfield died Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Drew was born on September 17th, 1986 in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Holst and father, Steve Hatfield.
He is also survived by six siblings: Clay (Liz) Hatfield, Ross Hatfield, Thor Nelson, Wren Nelson, Stacie Hatfield, Lindsey (Hatfield) Jones; four nieces; and many caring and devoted friends.
He was preceded in death by his older brother, John Hatfield.
Also, leaving this world before him was his most excellent dog, Duke.

    Referring to someone you know in the past tense isn't easy, but here goes.. Drew was probably one of the most intelligent people I had ever met. He was also loving and could make you laugh, even when you are pissed at him. He is gone way too soon, but I take solace in the fact that he was loved just as much as gave love.
    I feel better off for having known him, even though it was only 3 years or so. I am also grateful for the gift of creating 3 little lives with him.
