It is with great sadness that the family of Elaine Eloise Ferrantelli, of Fairview, TX, announce her passing on Sunday, August 24, 2025.  Elaine was 78 years old.  She was surrounded by her beloved husband Frank and her loving family.

She was predeceased by her parents: James Patrick and Mary Uomoleale and her brother, Joseph James Uomoleale.

Elaine (aka Ms. U!) knew from a young age that her calling was in the classroom.  She earned her Bachelors degree from  SUNY Brockport and her Masters degree from Western Connecticut before embarking on a distinguished career that spanned over 35 years at Fulmer Road Elementary School in Mahopac, NY.  Beyond the classroom, Elaine enjoyed traveling with her husband, golf, playing cards, and spending time with friends and family. She loved life and lived to the fullest at every turn.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made in Elains memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital using the following link:
