Francis Patrick (Pat) Ramirez

Francis Patrick (Pat) Ramirez, 71, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away on May 6, 2025, at Advent Health Port Charlotte. Pat was born June 11, 1953, in Springfield, IL to the late Peter Ramirez and Mary Ferguson Ramirez.

Pat graduated from Normal Community High School in Normal, IL. He was a marketing professional, retiring from Coors Brewing Co., and was a long-time consultant for Det Distributing in Nashville.     An “old beer guy”, he knew everyone in the business and everyone knew him.  He worked with, and for, legends in the industry and had garnered their respect. Pat was a loving man, the life of the party, and his stories are legendary. He loved to cook, and enjoyed showing off his talents making authentic Mexican dinners for his friends and family.

He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend, Bonnie Lunn of Port Charlotte, his wonderful son, Nicholas Ramirez of Collierville, TN; a step daughter Jennifer Deshler of Cleveland, TN.; two granddaughters, Karina Poe and Brooklynn Ramirez; step granddaughter, Jordan Deshler; four brothers, Robert and wife Maggi of Springfield, IL, Peter and wife Patti of Woodridge, IL, Michael and wife Linda of O’Fallon, MO, Tom and wife Jaynie of Cape Coral, FL., and a sister, Christina Forestier and husband Joe who is now deceased of Springfield, IL.

Although he left us much too soon, we will cherish his wonderful sense of humor, his wisdom, his passion for life, and we will forever miss that smile.

A man of faith, Pat has found peace in God’s loving arms.

One of Pat’s favorite observations of people was “They don’t know what they don’t know”.

No services will be held at this time.

Baldwin Brothers is honored to serve the family.

RIP, Pat. It was so good to see Pat at our 70th Birthday party for NCHS Class or 71. He was always laughing or smiling or both. He got the conga dance line going at our 20th reunion. My deepest condolences to Bonnie, his family and close friends.
