America lost one of its most dedicated veterans, Florida lost a respected and faithful resident, and Rosario (Char) lost the love of her life, on the early morning of June 8th due to a brief illness.
Franklin E. Walden Sr. was born on September 23, 1957, to Kaliope and Franklin D. Walden in St. Petersburg, Florida. Frank served his country with pride, honor, dedication, and love, for over 22 years as a Master Sergeant. After retirement from the Army, he joined the DOD as civilian Logistician and retired after 20+ years of service.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, soulmate, and best friend of 37 years, Rosario (Char) and their precious little girl Suzy. Also, his mother Kaly, his brothers John and Charles, sister Maria and children Frank and Racheal.
“Hello love, I know I promised to be very strong and think about myself, but it’s very hard not to think about all the things we planned to do, and I remember the conversations, the plans and dreams we had. Every second that passes since your departure for me feels like an eternity.
I find myself in my head there is nothing else but to think about seeing you, about being with you again. I have a very big need, perhaps I could call it addictive to feel you, to know how you are. That you tell me that you love me and that everything will be okay. I want to know that you are okay and in a certain way I know that you are okay because you are with the Lord.
I want so much that you will feel proud of me. I want so much to feel that pride with which you expressed yourself about me again, that I promised you things that I didn’t even know if I was going to be able to fulfill. I promised to be strong. Miss you terribly. I love you much more than you could imagine. Your memory will always live in my heart. Thank you for the memories we have shared. Your life was a gift to everyone who knew you. We will always miss you. You are an amazing person, and I can’t imagine my life without you. Rest in peace.” Charito
