Gary was one of a kind and my late husband and I fully enjoyed our times with Gary and Karen. He was a great cook and a game player. He and Karen were a special couple and I lift Karen up in prayer as she mourns the loss of her dear husband.

Dearest Gary, I pray that Jesus took your hand and led you to your eternal home with Him and His Father. So many people loved you; you made them laugh; strangers weren't strangers long. You had a way to endear them to you. Thanks for 58 years of loving me, and me loving you.

So many good memories! The best of times were when we didn't have two nickels to rub together and Gary and Karen found very creative ways for us to entertain ourselves. There were always lots of laughs and, of course, many of Gary's jokes and stories. It was always a great time picnicking at Gary's parents and we could be sure Gary was cooking up something tasty to eat. Rich loved the happy hours and jokes most of all. Thanks for the great memories and all the laughs, Gary. You will be missed.

I loved to listen to Uncle Gary tell us about the shuttle and how it was made. He was always the light in the room, and he was always smiling. I think that is what I will remember the most, his wonderful smile. I love you Aunt Karen.

God Bless you, Gary! You were are dear friend, a wonderful cook, and a great neighbor. I imagine that now instead of entertaining us with your jokes and stories you are regaling the angels with them!
