Gloria Y. Crisostomo, 81, born in Macabebe, Philippines entered into eternal peace Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She celebrated her life in Batlimore, Maryland for 35 years and eventually resided in Leesburg, Florida for eight years.   She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Felipe D. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.   Gloria is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sozonte Yabut and the sister of the deceased Mario Yabut, Renaldo Yabut, Laticia Bacani, and Angelina Halcon.   Gloria graduated from St. Thomas University Manila, Philippines in 1954, with a major in education. While in the Philippines, she became a teacher and eventually owned a textile business. She moved with her family to the U.S. in 1971. She was a dedicated worker for Johns Hopkins University as a research technician for 35 years and retired at the age of 72. Gloria accomplished everything she set out to do. Her determination and fortitude gave encouragement to her husband and her children to lead better lives in the United States.   The memorial mass will be held at St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike Manchester, Maryland 21102, on July 19, 2014 at 1 PM.   “Mahal kita, my beautiful Abe.”   “You will always live forever in our hearts, Inang.”

It is with much love and great sorrow that we send our dear Inang home. Inang, we thank you for every opportunity you have given to us and for showing us the true meaning of love, happiness and sacrifice.

The outpour of love and support from friends, family, cousins, Titos and Titas near and far --- has been overwhelming.

We are touched by each and all of you.
