Obituary
Hermann Ougland, age 83, passed away on December 20, 2025 in Ft. Myers, Florida, while in hospice care.
Hermann was born in Sogne, Norway to Miriam and Johann Ougland on January 10, 1942. He grew up in New Jersey and graduated from West Orange High School.
He married Helga on September 3, 1982 in Denville, New Jersey. In 1988, they relocated to Ft. Myers, Florida.
He worked as a skilled carpenter for many years. He traveled extensively with his trusted crew throughout the United States and he took pride in his completed projects. He was an avid reader, a huge Elvis fan, and enjoyed listening to music.
Hermann was preceded in death by his loving Parents Johann Ougland and Miriam Ougland; beloved Sister Berit Simpson and cherished Son-in-Law Sandy Lieberman.
Hermann is deeply missed by his devoted Wife Helga Ougland; treasured Daughter Kristina Lieberman; Step-Son Bret Conway and Daughter-in-Law Sherry Conway; Step Daughter Michele Gallagher and Son-in-Law Steven Gallagher; cherished Grandchildren Kaycee Acosta, Kyle Tufaro, Tyler Gallagher. He is also survived by his 1st Wife Brit Randi and many cherished friends.
Respecting Hermann’s wishes, no services will be scheduled. In memory of Hermann, light a candle, grow a plant or help a Hospice organization.
