In Loving Memory of Koen Allen Lipford
Koen Lipford, born on June 14, 2005, unexpectedly passed away on March 7, 2024, at the tender age of 18. His sudden passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
Koen recently graduated from Dunnellon High School, where he not only excelled academically but also made lasting friendships that reflected his sincerely warm and caring nature. His journey was marked by courage. Despite facing a traumatic brain injury, he was a warrior and beacon of strength within his family, inspiring everyone with his unwavering resilience and adaptability.
Koen held the dear roles of a devoted son, caring brother, beloved uncle, treasured grandson, cherished nephew and cousin. His love knew no bounds, and he brought comfort and joy to those around him with his infectious smile and compassionate spirit.
He is survived by his loving family: Parents, Ronald and Angelique Lipford, brother, Zachary Lipford and nephew, Myles Lipford. May the family find solace knowing that his beloved older brother, Chaz Donovan Lipford, whose memory we cherish deeply, now not only walks alongside him in the heavens above; but together shares unlimited bowls of Koen’s favorite cereal, Captain Crunch.
A celebration of Koen’s life will be held to honor his memory which will be shared by the family at a later date. The family kindly requests privacy during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, dear Koen. You will be dearly missed, but your gentle light and energy will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, forever and always.
