Obituary

Linda Joyce Kile, 75 of New Smyrna Beach Florida, previously of Kunkletown Pennsylvania passed away at home on July 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer. Linda was born on February 1, 1948, to Richard Emile Baudouy and Jean Lewis Baudouy, previously of Altamonte Springs, Florida.

 

Linda was survived by her loving husband, “John” Truman Kile of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in November. 

Linda is survived by her siblings, Susan and Jeanette Baudouy, both of Center Valley, PA, three children William Kile of East Stroudsburg, PA, Sandra Mireles of Gilbert PA, and Jackie Kile of Edgewater, Fl, grandchildren Thomas Whitmore JR of Kunkletown PA, Maddux Mireles of Winston Salem, NC, Logan Kile of East Stroudsburg, PA, and Alyssa Behr of Chincoteague, VA.

 

Linda was very involved with her community and was a volunteer worker as she was a first woman fire fighter in Monroe County, PA with Kunkletown Fire Company and then Polk Fire Company.

 

Linda was always playing bingo and running it at either Kunkletown or Polk fire companies. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and animals.  She loved reading, traveling, and going to Broadway plays. Most of all, spending time and making memories with her Family and friends. There will be a small celebration of life at her home in New Smyrna Beach on July 13, 2023, at 6 PM.

 

If a service is held later in Pennsylvania an announcement will be made. In lieu of flowers Please donate to the American Cancer Society. Her final remains will be handled by Baldwin brothers, New Smyrna Florida and at a later time, her remains will be laid to rest in Mims Florida.
