Obituary

Margo Stephanie Briody (Riffe), of Flagler Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Born on August 17, 1943, in Ashland, Kentucky, Margo was the beloved daughter of the late Mathew Riffe and Jewell (Bays) Riffe.

On October 12, 1962, she married the love of her life, James Charles Briody, in Flint, Michigan. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership, spanning an incredible 62 years.

Margo’s life was marked by her profound love of reading, solving puzzles, and driving corvettes. She had a special place in her heart for rescue dogs and was deeply passionate about supporting her American Indian heritage.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, James Charles Briody, her loving children, Lori Chaconas and James Craig Briody, along with many cherished cousins and friends

In lieu of a local service, Margo’s ashes will be interred at the family cemetery in Hurricane, West Virginia.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed.
