Obituary
Marsha Smith (83 years old) peacefully went home to the Lord on Sunday, June 22nd 2025. Marsha was born June 12th, 1942, in North Charleroi, Pennsylvania to John and Margaret Yanachik.
After attending Duffs Business College, Marsha met her husband, Jim, while working in Washington DC and wed on December 28th, 1963. Marsha spent much of her life in Valparaiso, Indiana but recently moved to The Villages, Florida. Marsha loved spending time with friends, family and especially her grandchildren. Marsha also enjoyed donating time to her Church.
She is survived by her husband, James (Jim) Smith, and two children, Joy (Mike) Zucker of The Villages, Florida and Kevin (Karen) Smith of Edwardsburg, Michigan. She has four cherished grandchildren Alec (Hannah) Zucker and Aaron Zucker in Santa Barbara, California, Maggie Smith in Chicago, Illinois and Lilly Smith in Nashville, Tennessee. She is also survived by her sister, Joan Buchanan in The Villages, Florida and Richard (Betti) Yanachik in New Stanton, Pennsylvania.
Marsha is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Darla Yanachik and her brother John Yanachik.
Services for Marsha will be held in November at Bushnell Veterans Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
