Nancy Arlene Pappalardo
August 31, 1934 – December 21, 2025
Nancy was born Nancy Arlene Taylor in 1934 and was raised in Danville, IL. She and her older sister Barbara are the daughters of Curt and Thelma “Rosie” Taylor. Nancy graduated from Danville High School (1952) and attended the University of Illinois, Champaign. After graduating from U of I, Nancy moved to Taylorville, IL where she taught elementary school age students. She was affectionally known as Miss Taylor from Taylorville. She then married Thomas Zeppelin and they settled in Florida. Their short marriage produced a son, Tommy (1957-1992). In the ’70’s she married Vincent Pappalardo, a major developer and general contractor for thirty years in northern Palm Beach County, after they parted ways in the late 90’s Nancy relocated to The Villages, FL where she has been an active member of the community for more than two decades.
Nancy was generous and outgoing. Through life’s many ups and downs she was always chipper and fun to be with. She was kind and honest to a fault. She had many friends. Nancy enjoyed golf and loved entertaining and hosting card games. She is survived by her niece and nephews, Ann (Tony), Scott (Ellen) and John Phillips (Donna) as well as a grand niece (Jessica) and grand nephew (Jeffrey). She will be greatly missed.
