Natalie Kay Cagle (48) passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of adventure, compassion, and an insatiable curiosity for the world.
Natalie was born on December 19, 1975 to parents Terri Kay Dietrich (Smith) and Harold Don Cagle in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Natalie’s journey through life was as vibrant and dynamic as her free spirit. Born in Indiana, she went on to live in New York City, NY, São Paulo, Brazil, Florida, Austin, Texas, & North Carolina making meaningful connections wherever she called home.
She earned a bachelors of Psychology from NYU and master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University, dedicating her career to understanding and supporting others.
Her greatest passion was exploring the world. Natalie’s travels took her across continents, where she delighted in immersing herself in new cultures, cuisines, and traditions. She was never one to stay in one place for too long, always seeking her next adventure.
Natalie is survived by her loving mother, Terri, her sisters, Nicole and Christie, and her cherished nephew, Owen. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, love, and an enduring example of living life fully and authentically.
Natalie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends—and in the stories of the many places she left her mark.
A private service for immediate family only is being held.
