Obituary
Paul Leo McNiff, Jr. (73), of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on June 7th, 2023. Paul was born on September 6, 1949, in Nashua, NH, to Paul and Maxine McNiff. Paul grew up in Pepperell and Dracut, MA until the family moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, where Paul fell in love with the beach and surfing.
Paul was a successful small business owner in Worcester, MA for many years, selling cars at Worcester Auto Outlet. He loved music, particularly the blues, the ocean, playing pool, reading mystery novels, riding his Harley Davidson, and cooking meals for his family. Paul was an animated and heartfelt man. He was kind, curious, and will of course be remembered for his larger-than-life sense of humor and contagious laugh. Paul was a devoted father and grandfather, helping to raise his grandsons, Drake and Joey. He was a loving brother to his 7 sisters and a great friend to many, especially his best friend, Bill Manzi.
Paul is predeceased by his sisters, Jane George of Weymouth, MA, Marilyn McNiff of Marlboro, MA, Sheila Griffin of Groton, MA and Paula Gillogly of Pepperell, MA, as well as his step-daughter, Melissa Crawford of Ormond Beach, FL.
He is survived by his sisters, Carol McNiff of Bakersfield, FL, Mary Lou Shattuck of Townsend, MA and Rita Hamilton of Pepperell, MA, and many nieces and nephews.
He will be most missed by his daughter, Chelsea McNiff, and her fiance, John Graham, of Somerville, MA, and by his partner-in-crime, Beverly Crawford, their grandchildren, Drake Morin, Joey Salvatore, and Cecilia White, his step-daughter Kristina Crawford, and son-in-law, Dan White, all of Ormond Beach, FL.
A celebration of life will be planned for later this summer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name to the Mayo Clinic, at 4500 San Pablo Road S, Jacksonville, FL, 32224.
Can't say enough about him ,I'm in shock praying for him eternal rest.
