Paul, there's just so much to say , and no way to really capture the essence of you and your presence in our lives .... you were that special friend and partner that everyone dreams of finding to have at their back and in their heart , but so rarely ever finds , and you were that every day and in every way , and we will miss you just as often and as deeply as we loved and appreciated you and the incredible friendship you always gave our family so unstintingly ....

I guess at the end of our days, we all would like to feel that we have been as invaluable , as loyal and as respected and lovingly remembered as we would have liked to be ....Rest in peace sweet friend , you are that much and so much more !!!!

PS:...If you hadn't done such an incredible job of permanently attaching yourself and so many beautiful memories to me and mine, I might have had. a very hard time forgiving you sweetheart for " triggering your sales " way before Joe & I were ready to let you go.

Lois Whelan, Your other Whelan partner and so much more . All my love !!!

Paul Wilson came to work at E. J. Whelan & Company on October 17, 1974 and he and I have been lifelong friends ever since. Borne out of that friendship came a fifty year business partnership that I will always cherish . We trusted and respected each other from the first day. We may have " debated " a number of business decisions along the way, but NEVER had an argument . I wonder how many business partnerships can say the same.

For all Paul's zaniness, nonsense, joking around, storytelling, horseplay and sometimes just plain craziness, I can never remember it being mean spirited. It was all in good fun and I believe everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

Lois and I will miss him greatly everyday going forward and I suspect that anyone who ever came in contact with him along the way will most likely feel the same way . How could they not ?

As I have said numerous times throughout the years, I have had two wonderful marriages in my lifetime, one to the love of my life , Lois , and one to my also wonderful partner , Paul J. Wilson .

Love ya' Paul. See you again one day

Paul, thank you for all the craziness and laughs through all the years and also for all that you did for me and my family

In remembrance of our close friend, and business partner Paul, it is not possible to adequately express our deepest appreciation of him or how fortunate we were in so many ways to have been graced with his generous caring friendship, guidance, and his ceaseless humor. Paul’s career blossomed in his partnership at the E.J. Whelan Plumbing Company where he developed strong, permanent relationships with his partner, their customers, vendors, and employees as well as their families. Continuing his career with us at Superior Mechanical, he is fondly remembered for his valued efforts and humor by all who worked with him. We will always have our treasured memories of him.
    Our condolences to Paul's family.
    Rest in peace dear friend.

Paul was so encouraging and informative. He really helped this lady. The world needs more people like Paul.

I have such fun memories of Uncle Paul. He was always smiling and happy. My first memories of him are his visits to our house on Christmas. He loved to be the first at our house to "help put all of our toys together," a.k.a. (be the first to play with our toys.)

    1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

Dear Sue, You and Paul were our Ambassadors when we first arrived at Wildcat in 2012. It was a perfect introduction to this great community. After our first dinner and many laughs with Paul’s amazing sense of humour we knew we made the right decision. Paul will be missed. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and the family.

Paul’s presence in the Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Industry in the Washington DC. and Metropolitan area was quite profound. His knowledge, and wonderful relationship with his customers led to the success of his partners, employees and his customers. Paul was a hard working and caring person. May God continue to bless him.

  49. Ron Wickline says:

We were immediately greeted to Paul’s strong sense of humor 10 years ago when we first met him. He asked if we were the couple who bought the house on the sink hole! I immediately knew I had met my match for humor and enjoyed trading barbs with him for many years. He was truly a bionic man who wanted to continue enjoying life, right up until the end of a life well lived. He will truly be missed.

  50. Mary Ann Campbell says:

What I will remember most about Paul is, in spite of all the health problems he faced, that smile never left his face and his humor always shone through. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, but I hope comfort will be found in knowing that he is at peace. Thinking of you, Sue and sending my heartfelt and sincere condolences.
