In Loving Memory of Ricky Anderson Napper
Rick Anderson Napper, 67, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away on January 3, 2025, surrounded by love. Born to Allan and Alma Napper, of Louisville Ky. Rick lived a life full of passion, faith, and joy, leaving a profound legacy of kindness and hard work.
Rick is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Patricia Napper. Together, they shared an enduring love that grew stronger with each passing year. He was an unapologetically proud father to Wes (Cindy) Napper and Brittany (Adam) Schott, as well as a loving stepfather to Melissa (Roger) Deppe and Gretchen (Allan) Brogdon. Rick’s world was made even brighter by his cherished grandchildren: Connor Schott, Winnie Napper, Hayes Schott, and Marcie Napper, along with his step-grandchildren Andrea Applegate, Sierra Deppe, and Brianna Hines and his step-great-grandson Kohen Stetchak.
Rick is also survived by his beloved sister, Libby (Gary) Mustard. His nephew Jonathan (Stephanie) Napper, Amanda (Donnie) Roden, Alyssa (Cameron) Clemons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allan and Alma Napper, and his older brother, Gary Napper.
Rick was a man of faith, a believer in Jesus Christ who lived his life as a reflection of God’s love. His heart of gold touched everyone he met, as he never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Rick was the person so many turned to in their most challenging times, earning him the admiration and gratitude of countless friends and family.
Rick’s work ethic was unmatched, as a professional roof inspector and proud owner of PFRI Services. His passion for his craft established him as a highly regarded expert in his field. His career took him to every state across this country that he loved so deeply, making connections and building friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Rick was a storyteller with a smile that could light up any room and a sense of humor that lifted spirits wherever he went. An eternal optimist, he found the silver lining in every challenge and encouraged those around him to do the same.
Rick loved the sunshine, the Caribbean, and cruising with Patricia. He was a devoted fan of the University of Louisville Cardinals and loved cheering on the Florida Vandals baseball team.
Rick’s legacy is one of hope, laughter, and love—a man who truly understood the importance of family, faith, and friendship.
In accordance with Rick’s wishes, he will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread in the ocean—a place that brought him peace and joy. A celebration of Rick’s life will be held in the Spring in the Kentuckiana area, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and memories of the remarkable man who meant so much to so many.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this time. Rick’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Samaritan’s Purse in Rick’s memory.
