Robert N. Perlmuter, a cherished husband, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born on November 18, 1941, in Buffalo, NY, to Louis Perlmuter and Annette Brenner. Robert’s life was a beautiful journey filled with love, dedication, and a passion for the things that brought him joy.
Robert was a proud graduate with an Associates Degree, which paved the way for a successful career as an optical executive in the eyeglass industry. His professional life was marked by a commitment to excellence and a genuine care for his colleagues and clients. Robert was respected and admired for his work ethic, integrity, and the warmth he brought to his role in the industry.
Beyond his professional achievements, Robert was a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rhonda Perlmuter, who was not just his partner but his greatest supporter and friend throughout the years. Their love was a testament to the beauty of companionship and shared dreams. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Robert had an adventurous spirit and a zest for life that extended beyond his career. He was a passionate fan of the Buffalo Bills, proudly cheering for his team through thick and thin. His enthusiasm for the game and his unwavering loyalty to his favorite team brought joy not only to him but also to those who shared in the experience of watching the game with him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 29 from 1-3pm at Baldwin Brothers East Colonial (4320 Colonial Blvd Ft. Myers FL 33966).
