Robert Eugene Tibbetts, 72, Passed away on August 4th 2024 in Bradenton Florida. Robert was born on January 12th 1952 and in his life one of his greatest accomplishments was being a part of The United States Army, where he proudly served in Vietnam. He later went on to meet his wife, Alice Tibbetts, through a mutual love of serving their community and collecting antiques they made lasting memories . Together they traveled throughout The United States eventually, opening their own Antique store. Robert & Alice’s greatest joy was when they welcomed their daughter Summer Marie Tibbetts into their lives. Summer is their most precious gift they shared.
Robert was preceded into heaven by his mother, father, and favorite dog Brooklyn. He is survived by his wife Alice Tibbetts; daughter Summer Tibbetts; his chosen son Frankie Huxley and his two daughters Ember and Lily; as well as his three sisters, many nieces and nephews, his sister-in-law Beth and the Johns family.
Robert was a beloved husband, father, chosen grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He was someone who always welcomed everyone with open arms and lived life believing in the power of a smile. He always knew how to cheer someone up when they were down. He opened his home to anyone that needed a safe space.
Although he will be greatly missed, he would want to be remembered smiling, on his couch or playing chess, in one of his favorite flannel shirts, and holding up a peace sign.
