Obituary
Susan Kristine Peterson, aged 74, of Titusville, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024 at St. Francis Reflections after a courageous battle with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).
Born on January 16, 1950, in Saranac, NY, to John Arthur Peterson and Elizabeth Marie Martin.
In addition to her parent, Susan is preceded in death by her siblings Kenneth P. Newton and Thomas W Newton; and her daughter Nicole Carter.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cully Vogt of Ohio, Shelly Platt of Florida, Jeremiah Carter of Ohio, Christopher Barr of Ohio; her siblings, Mark Peterson of Tennessee, Kathryn Kulwicki of Michigan, Kathryn Simpson of Florida; her 16 grandchildren; and her 8 great grandchildren.
It was Susan’s fierce love and unwavering principles that made her a force of nature. She cared deeply for her family and friends, always advocating for what she believed in with strength and conviction. Though she was not affiliated with any particular religion, she found profound meaning and connection in her spiritual journey.
Susan recently earned a degree as a hypnotherapist. It was her desire to empower individuals to overcome their challenges and embrace their potential.
In her memory, let us honor her spirit by embracing our own journeys of growth, just as she encouraged others to do. May her loving spirit shine on through the lives she touched.
