Theresa Ann Moore went home to the Lord on Sunday August 24th 2025. She died comfortably at home, with her daughter Rosiland, Son Frank, his Fiance Lyn and her faithful dog Pepe. She was surrounded by love.
Theresa was 90 years old living in Titusville, FL for the last 35 years. She was born in Larksville, PA to Rose and Joseph Eget.
Theresa had the voice of an Angel. She had earned a scholarship to Juilliard College in NY School of Music, unfortunately she was not able to attend College even given this high honor based on her exemplary talent.
She did however use her voice as the cantor in churches and events such as weddings, funerals. Her children were graced by her singing the “Our Father” before their bed time as they grew up. She was the soloist at St. Colman Catholic Church in Pompano Beach, FL for many years.
Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Rose and Joseph Eget and her two husbands Frank Whiteley, Jr and James Moore.
Theresa is survived by her daughter Rosiland, her son Frank and her 3 grandchildren Holly Kirschbaum and Annah Kirschbaum in Asheville, NC and Rachel Whiteley in Cocoa, FL. Four great grandchildren Nevaeh, Kaya, Ariah and Zelle and her great, great grandchildren Myla Rose.
There will be a Memorial Mass followed by a celebration of life in the church Hall on Saturday , September 13th starting 11:00am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on US1 in Port St. John.
