Obituary
Born January 7, 1949, in Newtown, N.J. and left us on June 16, 2023, at Halifax Hospital of Daytona Beach, FL.
Tom lived in Sussex N. J. for 36 years. Graduated High Point Regional High School in 1967 and was on Honor Roll every year. Entered Sigma Business College shortly after high school and graduated on the dean’s list in 1969. Tom entered the USAF in December of 1969 and was discharged in Sep.1970 for family hardship due to father passing.
Tom got married in 1973 to Peggy Davenport and started a family, a son Thomas Jr. and a daughter Georgeann. Tom worked on a local farm until 1975 then he started with Agway farm and feed store until 1985.
Tom moved to Sarasota, FL. In 1985 and worked for DuPont paints.
Tom married Judith Morgan in 1994 and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1996 where he lived till his wife Judith’s passing in 2015 at which time he moved to New Smyrna Beach, FL until his passing.
Passing before Thomas are his parents Paul Homan Sr. 1970, Mother Marjorie (Garner) Homan 1999. His wife Peggy (Davenport) Homan 2004. Sister Harriet Cosh 2011, wife Judith (Morgan) Homan 2015, Son Thomas Jr. 2021.
Tom is survived by his daughter Georgeann Miller and granddaughter Rosalee, twin brother Paul and Linda Homan, brother Eugene and Marla Homan, daughter Amy and Tom Holman, grandsons Alex and Steven, daughter Lynn and Terri Jones and granddaughter Megan.
A celebration of life will be held at New Smyrna Beach Church of Christ at 1340 Old Mission Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 on July 8, 2023 at 12 PM.
